Solicitor Parachutes for Legal Executive!

We know that Solicitors love us really but the Obiter page of the Law Society Gazette highlights just how far some of them will go.

Tim Sparkes from Portsmouth will be throwing himself out of a plane to raise funds for Papworth Hospital in Cambridge where a Legal Exec, Kristy Richardson, is awaiting a heart and lung transplant. Making sure he takes his parachute will be Kristy’s husband, Kevin, another Legal Exec, and Lucy Willis, a trainee Legal Exec, both of whom will also be jumping.

Probably lots of witticisms to be made about who is supporting who but I’ll limit myself to wishing all of them, and especially Kristy, all the very best and encouraging you all to click here to add a donation.

I will also be jumping on 9th July for Friends of Forest Holmes as a result of the cancer disease affecting so many families so please do give as much support as you can. Nick has details of my website should any of you want to give to Friends of Forest Holmes too.

Thanks Nick for the publicity, we are just short of £5,500 including gift aid and every penny really, really will make a difference and hopefully mean I will spend longer with my 17 month old baby girl. Typical isn’t it I survive the Legal Executive Advocates’ course and then my heart and lungs finish me off!
